Spring 2021 Virtual Open House Results

After analyzing the Spring 2022 Virtual Open House Results we decided to go back and analyze the Spring 2021 Virtual Open House Results. Spring 2021 was the first virtual event hosted by K. Friese & Associates for the public to provide feedback through their online map, as well as through email and a survey. They did publish a Public Involvement Summary, which included map comments. The Sentiment of the map comments is consistent between the 2021 and 2022, which is overwhelmingly negative.

Map Comment Analysis

The map comments were classified into 4 categories:

1. 3% Positive - positive sentiment toward the roundabout or the FM150 extension

2. 7% Neutral - not directly positive or negative; many of these were questions

3. 9% Informational - neutral, providing information

4. 82% Negative - negative sentiment toward the roundabout or the FM150 extension
